Body
WHEREAS, the Family Court Division has been awarded a grant in the amount of $213,997.00 for a Mentoring Program by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, for the period of September 30, 2010, through September 29, 2011; and,
WHEREAS, the grant funds will be used to implement and develop a adult and youth community-based mentoring program for children at risk; and,
WHEREAS, the requires a local match in the amount of $53,499.00; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer and appropriation are necessary to place the grant funds in the proper spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer and appropriation be made from the fund balance of the 2010 Grant Fund:
