WHEREAS, Mary M. Williams, a cherished resident of Kansas City, Missouri, has reached a momentous milestone in her life as she celebrates her 95th birthday on July 22, 2023; and,
WHEREAS, Ms. Williams has been an active member of the Ivanhoe Neighborhood, serving as a Block Captain and contributing significantly to the betterment of our community; and,
WHEREAS, Ms. Williams has exemplified the true spirit of service and compassion through her unwavering dedication, kindness, and generosity, making a positive impact on the lives of others; and,
WHEREAS, Ms. Williams has been a committed participant in various community organizations, volunteering her time and talents to uplift those in need and create a sense of unity and support; and,
WHEREAS, Ms. Williams is a proud member of Love Fellowship Church and Kingdom Impact Center, where she has faithfully served on the Usher Board, inspiring others with her unwavering faith and commitment; and,
WHEREAS, throughout her long and fulfilling life, Ms. Williams has been a source of inspiration, resilience, and wisdom to all who have had the privilege of knowing her, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of countless individuals; and,
WHEREAS, Ms. Williams' commitment to her family, friends, and community has fostered a sense of unity, love, and support, enriching the lives of those fortunate enough to be touched by her presence; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the Legislature hereby extends its heartfelt congratulations and deepest appreciation to Mary M. Williams on her 95th birthday celebration and extend our best wishes on this momentous occasion.
