Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 12746, dated June 7, 1999, enter into a contract with C & M Restoration of Kansas City, MO, in the amount of $62,418.00, for the Stone Arch Bridge Repair, Project No. 2398; and,
WHEREAS, all work contemplated by the original contract has been completed and is fully acceptable to the County and final payment on the contract in the amount of $2,202.25 is now due; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make final payment on the contract, and to release the remaining encumbrance on the contract balance of $18,373.08. Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
