BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "LI" (Light Industrial) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District LI a tract of land described as follows:

DESCRIPTION: A 6.6 ñ acre tract of land generally located « mile west of Minter Road on the south side of AA Highway and more specifically described as the North 500 feet of the following described tract of land: All of the East 30 acres of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 4, Township 48, Range 30, in Jackson County, Missouri, except 5 acres in the Northeast corner of said Quarter, Quarter Section; thence West 435 feet; thence South 500 feet; thence East 436 feet; thence North 500 feet to the point of beginning of the excepted tract. The above described tract contains 286,403 square feet or 6.575 acres more or less.


Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Cheryl Holloway (RZ-99-154), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Planning Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on June 17, 1999, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
