A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute an Addendum to an Agreement with Black Expo, USA, at no additional cost to the County.
Intro
RESOLUTION # 10780, April 17, 1995 INTRODUCED BY James D. Tindall, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 10639, dated February 6, 1995, the County and Black Expo, USA, entered into an Agreement, whereunder the County agreed to pay $40,000.00 to Black Expo, USA, the largest African-American consumer exposition in existence, to be used for funding the 1995 Black Expo; and,
WHEREAS, the County and Black Expo, USA, now wish to enter into an Addendum to said Agreement, changing the terms of payment; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Addendum to the Agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the Addendum on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement and Addendum thereto.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
