RE: APPOINTMENT TO THE ASSESSMENT REVIEW COMMISSION
Title
I hereby make the following appointment to the Assessment Review Commission to examine the assessment and appraisal process for Jackson County property owners to ensure that seniors and families are not forced from their homes due to rising property tax bills. The Commission will present its findings and recommendations within 120 days of the Commission's first meeting:
Derek Ramsey, Vice President, Governmental Affairs and Commercial Division, Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors.
Angelo Mancini retired Executive Vice President of Bank Operations for Mercantile Bank will be named Chair.
