Body
WHEREAS, the City of Sugar Creek, has requested the use of $4,499.00 from its County Urban Road System (CURS) account to cover the cost of the preliminary design of the Lewis & Clark Expressway Project, Phase 2, located between I-435 and Sterling Avenue; and,

WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that the project proposed by the City will benefit the citizens of Sugar Creek and the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that, pursuant to chapter 28, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $4,499.00 to the City of Sugar Creek for the cost of the preliminary design, Phase 2, of the Lewis & Clark Expressway Project.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
