Body
WHEREAS, Bob Dunning has been an active member of Boy Scout Troop 264 for the past fifty years; and,
WHEREAS, Bob attributes the success of the pack to outstanding leaders, the willingness of the boys to put forth great efforts in achieving their goals, and the Lee's Summit United Methodist Church which has supported the pack by providing a place for them to meet; and,
WHEREAS, Bob's first cub scoutmaster was Sam Hibbard, also celebrating 50 years with Boy Scout Troop 264; and,
WHEREAS, the scouting program has been important to Bob's family as his three sons and two younger brothers are Eagle scouts; and,
WHEREAS, respect and admiration go out to Bob for giving of his time and talents to the scouting program, for being a positive role model for the boys in the pack, and for helping these young men achieve their goals, while having fun in the making; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Bob Dunning upon his 50 years of service with Troop 264, and for being a responsible and positive influence on the boys.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
