Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows:
Description: A 9.8 ± acre tract of land located at the southwest corner of R.D. Mize Road and Stillhouse Road and specifically described as:

A part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 6, Township 48, Range 29, Jackson County, Missouri described as follows:

Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 6; thence South 01 degrees 57 minutes 17 seconds West along the East line of said Quarter-Quarter Section, 659.43 feet; thence North 88 degrees 31 minutes 18 seconds West, 646.46 feet; thence North 01 degrees 49 minutes 19 seconds East, 659.56 feet to the North line of said Quarter-Quarter Section; thence South 88 degrees 30 minutes 00 seconds East, 647.99 feet to the Point of Beginning. Containing 9.80 acres, more or less and subject to any easements, aka 6320 S. Stillhouse Road.



Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of John Conner ( RZ-2003-297), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on March 20, 2003, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
