BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows:

A 3.9 + acre tract of land being in the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 15, Township 49N, Range 30W, beginning at the northwest corner of the south 450 feet of the west 968 feet of said Quarter Quarter section; thence north along the west line of said Quarter Quarter section, a distance of 346.76 feet; thence east and parallel with the north line of said south 450 feet of the west 968 feet, a distance of 266.94 feet; thence southeasterly, a distance of 639.87 feet to a point on the north line of said south 450 feet of the west 968 feet; thence west along said north line, a distance of 804.71 feet to the Point of Beginning, Except that part in Dillingham Road.


Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of John Washburn (RZ-96-025), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission favorably recommended this application in a public hearing on May 16, 1996, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
