Body
WHEREAS, section 50.535 of Missouri Revised Statutes states that the funds encumbered by processing concealed carry permits will be placed in the County Sheriff's Revolving Fund, and may be used specifically for educational benefits, salaries and training; and,
WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Office desires to create one new clerical position responsible for the full-time processing of Concealed Carry Permits, and to use the Revolving Fund for the position's salary; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary in order to place the money in the proper spending account; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be and hereby is made:
