Body
WHEREAS, the county is interested in contracting with the University of Kansas Medical Center for the purpose of performing a scientific study regarding the potential existence of a cancer cluster within the City of Sugar Creek; and,
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of this study is $29,884; and,
WHEREAS, in order to fund this study a transfer within the 1998 Health Fund is necessary; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be and hereby is made within the 1998 Health Fund:
