INTRODUCED BY Bob Spence, County Legislator

Body
WHEREAS, the County and the City of Lee's Summit have an agreement to apply County road and bridge funds that are due to the City of Lee's Summit, under the County Urban Road System (CURS) program to road and bridge projects within the City of general County interest and benefit; and,

WHEREAS, the City of Lee's Summit has requested to add a section of Ranson Road from State Route R-A to Browning Road to the list of CURS routes in Jackson County and has requested that the County replace a culvert located approximately 1/8 mile north of Browning Road as a CURS project; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works concurs with the addition of Ranson Road to the CURS route and recommends the culvert replacement as a CURS project; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby concurs with the City of Lee's Summit request for the adoption of Ranson Road from State Route R-A to Browning Road as a new CURS priority and the culvert replacement as a CURS project.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
