Body
WHEREAS, Jordan Dodd of Blue Springs recently won the 100, 200, and 400 meter races at the annual Show-Me State Games in Columbia, MO; and,
WHEREAS, Jordan's 15.0 seconds time in the 100 meter event was a meet record for his age group; and,
WHEREAS, Jordan, a third grader at Lucy Franklin Elementary in Blue Springs, began running competitively only this summer; and,
WHEREAS, Jordan competes for the Independence Track Club where he is coached by Truman High cross country and track coach Tom Billington; and,
WHEREAS, Jordan is the son of proud parents Bryan and Stephanie Dodd of Blue Springs; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby congratulates Jordan Dodd of Blue Springs on his three victories at the recent Show-Me State Games, and wishes him every success in future competitions.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
