Body
WHEREAS, the County has a need for a right-of-way, temporary construction easement, and permanent drainage easement in connection with the Harry Truman Road Improvements Project, No. 2999; and,

WHEREAS, the owner of the necessary property, Mehring Development Company, has agreed to convey to the County the requested right-of-way and easements, copies of which are attached hereto, for payment of the sum of $36,300.00; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of the Department of Public Works recommends acceptance of the right-of-way and easements upon the specified terms; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the attached right-of-way, temporary easement and permanent drainage easement, be and hereby are accepted and that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is directed to issue a lump sum payment in the amount of $36,300.00 to Mehring Development Company in consideration for said right-of-way and easements, pursuant to the specific direction of the County Counselor.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
