AN ORDINANCE transferring $42,295.00 within the 2002 Park Fund and appropriating $250,000.00 from the unappropriated surplus of the 2002 Grant Fund to cover the reimbursement grant received from the Missouri Department of Conservation for the completion of the Fort Osage Access Renovation project, and the transfer of matching funds.

Body
WHEREAS, the County has been awarded a grant by the Missouri Department of Conservation, in the maximum amount of $250,000, for the County's Fort Osage Access Renovation project; and,
WHEREAS, under this grant, the state will reimburse the County's expenses for the project in the maximum amount of $250,000.
WHEREAS, an appropriation and transfer are necessary to cover to the place the grant fund and County funds necessary to complete the project, now estimated at $42,295, into the proper spending accounts; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said appropriation and transfer; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2002 Park Fund and appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 2002 Grant Fund be and hereby are made:
