Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has determined that a portion of Hayes Park in Sibley, Missouri, described in the attached document, is excess to the County's needs; and,
WHEREAS, the Director has recommended that this tract be disposed of by the solicitation of formal written bids pursuant to chapters 10 and 11 of the Jackson County Code; and,
WHEREAS, 1100. of the Code requires the Legislature to authorize such solicitation by resolution; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the Director of Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to solicit formal written bids for the sale of the described portion of Hayes Park.
Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
