IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION declaring certain personal property from the Sheriff's Department as surplus personal property and authorizing its donation to the Prairie Township Fire Protection District of Lee's Summit, MO. Intro RESOLUTION #11871, September 2, 1997 INTRODUCED BY Dixie M. Flynn, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Department has certain personal property, namely one 1993 Ford Crown Victoria 4-door sedan, serial no. 2FACP71W7PX175190 and one 1991 Chevrolet Caprice 4-door sedan, serial No. GIBL5370MW248511, that has become excess to the County s needs; and, WHEREAS, the Jackson County Purchasing Director has declared this property surplus; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of Purchasing is hereby authorized to dispose of said surplus property by way of donation to the Prairie Township Fire Protection District of Lee's Summit, MO. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
