Body
WHEREAS, the City of Sugar Creek, Missouri, has requested the use of the remaining balance of $19,096.07 from its CURS refund account to cover costs of the City's street maintenance program; and,

WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that the street maintenance program proposed by the City will benefit the citizens of Sugar Creek and the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that, pursuant to Chapter 28, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $19,096.07 to the City of Sugar Creek for use in the City's street maintenance program.


Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
