Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 106-97 for the furnishing of drug treatment services for use by the Jackson County Drug Court; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon the following:
VENDOR BID
Comprehensive Mental Health Center $587,200.00
Independence, MO
County Court Services, Inc. $638,000.00
Independence, MO
Mainstream $697,135.00
Bonner Springs, KS
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to County Court Services, Inc. of Independence, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid meeting bid specifications; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
