WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to cover the expense of outside counsel retained to represent the County in connection with issues affecting the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the fund balance of the 2008 Park Fund be and hereby is made:
