WHEREAS, the Parks + Rec Department's Marinas and Recreation Division has need of items for resale to guests; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 25-015 for a twelve-month term and supply contract with three twelve-month options to extend for the furnishing of sundry and novelty items for resale for use by the Parks + Rec Department; and,
WHEREAS, a total of five hundred and eighty-six (586) notifications were distributed, and one response was received and evaluated from the following:

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1054.6 the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a twelve-month term and supply contract, with three twelve-month options to extend, for the furnishing of sundry and novelty items for resale for use by the Parks + Rec Department under the terms and conditions of Invitation to Bid No. 25-015 to St. Joe Distributing Co. of St. Joseph, Missouri, as the lowest and best bid received; and,
WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount, with the availability of funds for specific purchases subject to annual appropriation, with an estimated spending of $18,000.00 annually; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to ...
