WHEREAS, the Community Justice Building contains certain personal property, to wit 34 used desks a d 70 used chairs, stored on the third floor, that have become surplus; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to
1131., Jackson County Code, 1984, the Jackson County Purchasing Director ha determined that property is obsolete and unusable, and has requested authorization for its dispos l by way of sale to the highest bidder; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the two highest quotes thereon, quotes from the following: BIDDER QUOTE Yesterday's Furniture and More $450.00 Blue Springs, MO

Office Furniture Exchange $350.00 Lenexa, KS

therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the 34 used desks and 7 used chairs stored on the third floor of the Community Justice Building be and hereby are declare surplus property and the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to dispose of them by wa of sale to Yesterday's Furniture and More of Blue Springs, MO, in the amount of $450.00.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of he Legislature.
