Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4244, dated September 20, 2010, the Legislature did authorize the execution of Cooperative Agreements with certain outside agencies in acceptance of the State of Missouri's 2010 Emergency Shelter Grant; and,
WHEREAS, Niles Home for Children has indicated that it is unable to use the $4,667.00 in grant funds that were allocated to it under Ordinance 4244 and the State of Missouri has authorized the re-allocation of those funds to Hillcrest Ministries, increasing its allocation from $6,917.00 to $11,584.00; and,
WHEREAS, an Addendum to the Cooperative Agreement with Hillcrest Ministries is necessary to effect this modification; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute an Addendum to the Cooperative Agreement with Hillcrest Ministries at no additional cost to the County, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement and Addendum.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
