WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4258, dated October 12, 2010 the Legislature did appropriate funds in acceptance of a grant from the Missouri Department of Public Safety, for the Prosecuting Attorney's Sentenced to the Arts program; and,
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney's Office now recommends a Cooperative Agreement with Jennifer Osborne of Kansas City (Jackson County), MO in the amount of $15,600.00, to provide assistance transitioning offenders from the Sentenced to the Arts Program into the MyArts Apprenticeship Program; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County a Cooperative Agreement with Jennifer Osborne of Kansas City, MO, at a cost to the County not to exceed $15,600.00, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
