WHEREAS, by Ordinance 3980, dated March 18, 2008, the Legislature did approve the Family Court Division's "Enhancing Active Resiliency Through Healthy Sports Participation" grant, received from the Office of State Courts Administrator; and,
WHEREAS, the Family Court Division and the Office of the State Courts Administrator now desire to extend the ending date for the use of the grant funds to June 30, 2009, at no additional cost to the County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the extension to June 30, 2009, for the Family Court Division's "Enhancing Active Resiliency Through Healthy Sports Participation" grant awarded by the Office of State Courts Administrator, be and hereby is approved.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
