Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 12950, dated November 22, 1999, the Legislature authorized a contract with Health Productivity Systems of Kansas City, MO, for the furnishing of urinalysis testing for use by the Prosecuting Attorney's Deferred Prosecution and Drug Court programs; and,

WHEREAS, by a First Addendum to Agreement dated September 5, 2000, the terms of said contract were extended; and,

WHEREAS, the Legislature did, by Resolution 13657, dated April 9, 2001, authorize a Second Addendum to the Agreement, increasing the contract in the amount of $20,400.00 and extending the terms of the Agreement for an additional twelve months; and,

WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney has recommended an increase to this contract in the amount of $14,500.00, in order to allow Health Productivity Systems to continue providing urinalysis services to participants of the Deferred Prosecution and Drug Court programs; and,

WHEREAS, the attached Third Addendum to Agreement provides a suitable mechanism by which to implement the Prosecuting Attorney's recommendation in this regard; and,

WHEREAS, a transfer within the 2002 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund is necessary to cover the increase; and,

WHEREAS, the County Executive has recommended said transfer; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within the 2002 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund:
