Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE, a tract of land described as follows:

Description: The 2.5 ± acre lot is located less than ¼ ± of a mile east of Slaughter Road on the south side of Crystal Aire Drive and is legally described as Lot 7, Crystal Aire, 2 nd Plat, a Jackson County, Missouri subdivision lying in the southeast quarter of Section 16, Township 49, Range 30 aka 30309 Crystal Aire Drive.




Section 2. The Jackson County Plan Commission, on September 15, 2005, held a public hearing and accepted testimony pertaining to the change of zoning requested by Arthur Kottman. This request is consistent with the intent and purpose of the Master Plan, therefore, the Plan Commission voted 5 to 1 to recommend APPROVAL to the County Legislature.

Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Arthur Kottman (RZ-2005-379), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted 5 to 1 recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on September 15, 2005, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
