WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 118-97 for the furnishing and installation of acoustical wall covering for the Courthouse in Independence; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following:

Woodard Contract $15,301.00
St. Louis, MO
Fabric Design Interiors, Inc. $21,978.00
Independence, MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Acoustical Stretched Fabric Systems of Lenexa, KS, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
