Body
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney recommends the execution of the attached IV-D County Reimbursement Cooperative Agreement with the Missouri Department of Social Services, Family Support Division, for the period of January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2028; and,
WHEREAS, this Agreement will allow the County to continue to receive federal funding for its child support enforcement program; and,
WHEREAS, execution of this Agreement is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of the County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive and the Prosecuting Attorney be and hereby are authorized to execute the attached IV-D County Reimbursement Cooperative Agreement with the Missouri Department of Social Services, Family Support Division.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
