Body
WHEREAS, the County and the City of Kansas City have entered into a seven-year reciprocal agreement concerning the housing of prisoners; and,
WHEREAS, said agreement requires that the per diem costs for housing prisoners be set annually; and,
WHEREAS, attached hereto and incorporated herein is the 1995 Prisoner Care Rates Agreement; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute on behalf of the County the 1995 Prisoner Care Rates Agreement with Kansas City, Missouri, and the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
