Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 2429, dated July 17, 1995, the County Executive was authorized to execute a Utility Agreement with Kansas City Power and Light Co. for required power line relocation in connection with the Prospect Road Bridge Improvements, Project No. 2139-2; and,
WHEREAS, because of a conflict involving clearance for pile- driving equipment during construction and relocation work required, it has become necessary that Kansas City Power and Light Co. install extra tall poles during construction to allow completion of the work; and,
WHEREAS, normal length poles will be reinstalled upon completion of the work; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Addendum to the Utility Agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is authorized to execute the Addendum on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be, and hereby is, authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Utility Agreement and Addendum thereto.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
