Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 15086, dated July 6, 2004, the County Legislature did authorize the County Executive to execute a Cooperative Agreement with the City of Lee's Summit, MO, ("City") in connection with the Blackwell Road and Woods Chapel Road public improvement projects which provided for a cost sharing allocation by the City of sixty-five percent (65%); and,
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department received a payment from the City in an amount of $717,000.00 for the City's share of the cost of waterline work to be done on Woods Chapel Road in 2006 and an appropriation is required to place the $717,000.00 in the proper spending account for use by the Public Works Department; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made:
