Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 10894, dated July 10, 1995, the County did, at the request of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, amend the City's County Urban Road System (CURS) priorities to provide for the commencement of the Prospect Bridge Project, No. 2139-2, during the 1995 construction season; and,
WHEREAS, in order to fund this project, it will be necessary for the City to transfer to the County approximately $1,400,000, to supplement the funds in the City's CURS account; and,
WHEREAS, the attached Agreement provides a suitable mechanism whereby these funds can be transferred by the City to the County, once the contract has been bid and prior to award; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Agreement with the City of Kansas City, Missouri.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
