Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 11158, dated February 5, 1996, a three- year lease agreement was awarded to Tidwell Company of Overland Park, KS, for office space for use by the Prosecuting Attorney's Office for its Drug Court Program in the actual amount of $91,109.56 for 1996, and for a total cost of $564,720.66, over the life of the lease including all renewal terms; and,

WHEREAS, during the process of occupying the space, it was determined that certain space previously designated as "open" under the lease, needed to be converted into four individual offices, at a one-time additional cost in 1996 of $6,960.00, for a total 1996 cost of $98,069.56, and a grand total over the life of the lease, including all renewal terms, of $571,680.66; and,

WHEREAS, a transfer within the 1996 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund is necessary to cover the cost of this increase to the lease; and,

WHEREAS, the County Executive has recommended said transfer; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within the 1996 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund:
