Body
WHEREAS, the Mid-Continent Public Library system is dedicated to serving the educational and leisure interests of our citizens; and
WHEREAS, the Mid-Continent Public Library has dedicated itself to expanding its quality services; and,
WHEREAS, the Mid-Continent Public Library recently loaned its one hundred millionth item and will open its twenty-ninth branch location this year; and,
WHEREAS, the Mid-Continent Public Library will celebrate its thirtieth anniversary in November, 1995; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby congratulates the Mid- Continent Public Library on the occasion of its thirtieth anniversary and for its exceptional service to our community...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
