WHEREAS, by Ordinance 3865, dated December 18, 2007, the Legislature did extend the time by which the County Executive is required to submit his recommended 2007 County Budget until January 16, 2007; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive has requested the date for submission of his recommended budget for Fiscal Year 2007 be extended to January 19, 2007, to allow him additional time to resolve some outstanding budget issues prior to the filing of his proposal; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the time by which the County Executive shall submit the recommended budget for fiscal year 2007 to the Legislature be and hereby is extended until January 19, 2007.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
