WHEREAS, due to unforeseeably severe winter weather conditions, existing stocks of salt and sand have been depleted; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to provide funds to replenish these stocks; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this appropriation as an amendment to her proposed 2001 County budget; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made:
