Body
WHEREAS, the Assessment Department currently maintains a computerized Geographic Information Systems (GIS), which assists the Department in mapping real property in the County; and,
WHEREAS, Kansas City Power & Light Co. (KCP&L) has requested that the County share with it certain information contained in the GIS system; and,
WHEREAS, in return, KCP&L proposes to share with the County certain proprietary information in its possession which will enhance the County's capabilities in this regard; and,
WHEREAS, the attached License Agreement provides a suitable mechanism to effect this sharing of information; and,
WHEREAS, this License Agreement is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizen's of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached License Agreement with Kansas City Power & Light Co...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
