Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 45-95 for the furnishing of one 6x4 utility vehicle, one 4x4 utility vehicle, and one top dresser for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends the contract be divided and awarded to the vendors submitting the lowest bid for each item; and,
WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in the actual awards for the respective vendors as follows:
VENDOR AWARD
Harrisonville Tractor $3,600.00 Harrisonville, MO
Kearney Rental & Sales $9,900.00 Kearney, MO
Modern Distributing $5,670.00 Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.
