Body
WHEREAS, the County and United Inner City Services (UICS) desire to enter into an agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein, whereunder the County will pay $63,000.00 to UICS to be used by UICS for funding in the areas of emergency assistance, youth recreation and day camp, day care service for children, and drug prevention; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
