Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB20087 for the furnishing of security services for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,

WHEREAS, a total of twelve solicitations were distributed and five responses were received, the lowest three of which are as follows:
BIDDER PRICE

First Class Security $14.00 per hour
Sioux City, IA

Wardlow Protection $14.50 per hour
Oak Grove, MO

Command Security $15.25 per hour
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

and,

WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends award to Wardlow Protection of Oak Grove, MO, which, while not the lowest bidder, is the lowest and best bidder as set forth in the attached recapitulation and analysis; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the award be made as recommended and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the issuing spending agency are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.
