A RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Parks and Recreation to execute agreements with certain Parks and Recreation Department employees, authorizing the employees to occupy County-owned property.

Body
WHEREAS the County owns certain residential property within the County park system which, if inhabited, provides security and protection of County parks and residences themselves; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation recommends that certain qualified County employees be granted permission to occupy the County-owned property, for the purpose of providing security and protection of the County assets; and,

WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the County to provide such security and protection; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the specified County employees be and hereby are authorized to occupy County-owned residential property and the Director of Parks and Recreation be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Employee-Occupied County Property Agreements with the Director to have the authority to renew these agreements on an annual basis, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
