WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 86-96
for the furnishing of two medical examiner professional liability insurance coverage policies for the Medical Examiner and Deputy Medical Examiner; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following:

WHEREAS, he has recommended that award be made to Medical Protective of Indianapolis, Indiana for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
