Body
WHEREAS, in the 2004 budget, $500,000.00 was appropriated for payment of debt service on the Jackson County Public Building Corporation Leasehold Revenue Bonds, Series 2000A, which funded the new Grain Valley public works facility; and,
WHEREAS, due to a scaling back of this project, sufficient residual bond proceeds exist in the project fund to cover the remaining scheduled debt service payment due in fiscal year 2005, with no additional payment being due in 2004; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer within the Special Road & Bridge Fund is necessary to make these excess 2004 funds available in connection with the new Public Works Technology Center; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive has recommended said transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer made within the 2004 Special Road & Bridge Fund:
