WHEREAS, it has become necessary, in connection with the Outer Belt Culvert Replacement Site #2 (W) Project, Number 2419, to acquire a permanent drainage easement over, and to cause certain damage to, the property of a certain property owner, Kimberly A. Roberts, in the amount of $75.00, said property being more fully described in the conveyance instrument, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and,
WHEREAS, the owner has agreed to convey said permanent drainage easement, and to settle the claim for damages and has executed this conveyance in favor of the County in consideration of the total payment of $75.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of the Department of Finance issue a check in the amount of $75.00 in the name of Kimberly A. Roberts, and that the check be delivered to the Department of Public Works, c/o Martha Poe, Engineering Division, for appropriate disposition.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
