Body
WHEREAS, the 2023 County budget contains appropriations for outside agency funding for various public health and other public purposes; and,

WHEREAS, in 2020, thirty-two agencies and thirty-nine programs were funded, in 2021 thirty-three agencies and forty programs were funded, in 2022 thirty-eight agencies and fourty-four programs were funded, and in 2023 sixty agencies and sixty-seven programs will be funded; and,

WHEREAS, the following criteria was created and applied to all agencies to determine award:
1. Maximum award of $40,000; minimum award of $20,000 on new requests;
2. 64% direct expense -to equal 2023 Outside Agency Budget;
3. 58% indirect expense -to equal 2023 Outside Agency Budget;
4. Reduction of 2022 funds left unspent;
5. Reduction of any requested salary expense over 50%;
6. Awards have been rounded to equal 2023 Outside Agency Budget; and
7. Reductions were not applied to three agencies requesting under $10,000; and,
WHEREAS, it is appropriate that the County Executive be authorized to execute Cooperative Agreements with the following agencies in the respective amounts indicated:
