Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 9016, dated November 12, 1991, the County did, on December 17, 1991, enter into an Agreement with the Missouri Department of Conservation to implement the department's Community Assistant Program; and,
WHEREAS, under this program the department agreed to construct or improve facilities at certain County parks and the County agreed to make those parks and facilities available for use by fisherman; and,
WHEREAS, the parties now desire to change the scope of the work to be performed by the department under this Agreement; and,
WHEREAS, the attached Amendment No. 1 adequately sets out the agreement and understanding of the parties; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with the Missouri Department of Conservation.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of he Legislature.
