Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows:
Description: A 100 ± acre tract of land generally located west of Howard Road, south of Colbern Road and east of the Lee's Summit Legacy Park and more specifically described as:
A tract of land that is the southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 36, Township 48, Range 31; the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 36, Township 48, Range 31; and the north half of the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 36, Township 48, Range 31; All in Jackson County, Missouri.


Section 2. The preliminary plat "Windsor - Lots 29-38," creating a ten-lot residential subdivision is hereby approved.

Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Gordon Braun (RZ-2001-244), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on August 16, 2001, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
