Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 44-95 for the furnishing of an engineering copier for use by the Public Works Department; and,

WHEREAS, he has recommended as the lowest three bids thereon the following:
VENDOR AWARD

American Reprographics $5,000.00 Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

Drexel Supply $7,184.00 Kansas City, KS

Lane Blueprint $8,042.90 Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

and,

WHEREAS, the acquisition of this new engineering copier has rendered the existing Versatec Plotter as surplus property; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to
1134., Jackson County Code, 1984, the Purchasing Director has requested that he be authorized to dispose of this plotter by way of trade-in; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the existing plotter be and hereby is declared surplus property and the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to dispose of it by way of trade-in.
